Pre-Cleanse: We suggest starting with a pre cleanse at the end of the day or if you’re wearing makeup, sunscreen, or simply want to ensure a thorough cleanse. CHIOMA The Jelly Pre-Cleansing Oil is your first step for dissolving impurities before your main cleanse.

Cleanse: Take the bar of CHIOMA Clarifying African Black Soap and rub it between your wet hands to create a rich lather. You can also use a washcloth or a gentle cleansing brush. Important: Do NOT apply the bar directly to your face, as the ash content can be abrasive. Always lather in your hands first. Gently massage the creamy lather onto your face and/or body using circular motions. Focus on areas prone to oiliness or blemishes. Cleanse for 30-60 seconds to allow the active ingredients to work.
Your CHIOMA go-to: For combination, oily and acne prone skin it is suggested to use your CHIOMA African Black Soap Bar for a deep cleanse at night or when makeup in worn and an alternate gentler soap like CHIOMA Clarifying Cleanser in the morning. Sensitive, dry skin may African Black Soap a bit strong and can start with once a week and adjust as needed.
