Oménani – Our Heritage and Ethos
The CHIOMA name and inspiration hails from the Igbo community of Eastern Nigeria and means ‘to be in good spirits’, ‘a healthy state of wellbeing’. Our value system or Oménani as we say, aims to foster an environment of hospitality; honor and embrace ‘Ani’, Mother Nature, all the natural resources she has provided to us and develop sustainable, zero waste practices that preserve her beauty; and lastly make conscious decisions to practice self care that keep us in good ‘Chi’ or a healthy state of wellbeing.
Founder, Ebele Chioma
From Struggle to Passion – Ebele Chioma is a master alchemist, chartered herbalist, advanced esthetician, seasoned entrepreneur and published author of HER APOTHECARY, Herbal Recipes & Guide For Women’s Natural Health. She started her career in wellness and beauty after years of searching for solutions to her own personal challenges. She holds over two decades of combined industry experience and has formulated dozens of top selling products including Asana LadiesBalance an award winning women’s support blend which has been sold to 1,000s of customers worldwide. Her proprietary techniques and formulas are inspired by her heritage, her travels and quest to discover traditional self care rituals and source authentic products from different cultures around the world.
