3. Steep: Close the strainer securely and place it into your cup or teapot. Pour hot water over it and steep for the recommended time (check the instructions for your specific tea type, typically 3–5 minutes).

4. Enjoy & Remove: Once your tea is brewed to your liking, simply lift the strainer out of the cup.

5. Clean Up (Crucial Step): Immediately after use, empty the wet tea leaves into your compost or trash. Rinse the strainer under warm running water to prevent fine particles from drying and sticking in the mesh. You can use a soft brush if needed, then allow it to air dry completely before storing.
