How To Use
How To Use
Ginger Root is most effective when prepared as a warming herbal decoction to support healthy digestion and circulation.
Brewing Method
- Boil Water: Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil (about 205–212°F / 96–100°C).
- Measure Tea: Use 1–2 teaspoons of dried ginger root pieces per 8 oz cup of water.
- Steep: Pour hot water over the root. Cover and let steep for 10–15 minutes (depending on desired strength).
- Strain & Enjoy: Strain herbs and sip warm. Add honey, lemon, or sweetener if desired.
Optional Tips:
For a much stronger, spicier brew (decoction), gently simmer the root pieces in a pot of water for 15–20 minutes. This is especially soothing during cold weather or when feeling nauseous.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in a sealed container.
Safety: We recommend that you consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using any herbal products, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, or on any medications (especially blood thinners).
