How To Use

  • Measure Tea: Use 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of dried root per 8 oz cup of water.
  • Steep: Pour hot water over the root. Cover and let steep for 10–15 minutes (depending on desired strength).
  • Strain & Enjoy: Strain herbs and sip slowly, preferably 15–20 minutes before a meal. Add honey or sweetener if desired to balance the intense bitterness.

Optional Tips:
For a stronger digestive tonic (decoction), gently simmer the root in water for 10–20 minutes. It is often blended with warming herbs like Ginger or Orange Peel to enhance flavor and effect.
